There’s been a strong participation in our weekend long-runs this Winter. Many of us have been training for the Yuengling Anthem Shamrock Marathon / Half Marathon / 8K which is this weekend so our long-run ranks might be pretty thin this weekend.
Also worth noting that one Oxen is running the Big Island International Marathon in Hawaii (good luck – we’re not at ALL jealous)!
So while there is no organized long-run this weekend, this is a placeholder for everyone who will be around and still need to get in those training miles.
Please consider this a self-supported run, meaning you should plan on providing your own hydration and nutrition. We suggest leaving the brewery and heading East, because then you have built-in rest stops throughout Herndon if your route takes you that far!
This is also a practical way to connect our runners who don’t like running alone, because not only is there more safety in numbers, there’s more fun!
